CAN I EXERCISE?
Yes, however strenuous exercise is not recommended on a very low-calorie part of the program (Step 2). Its best to stick to low key exercise like walking for 20 to 30 minutes a day and a few body weight exercises. By exercising you burn extra calories which causes hunger. The combination of low calories and exercise may cause your body to go into starvation mode causing you to hold weight. This may have a negative impact on your stamina and commitment to the program. So, take it easy!!! Normal exercise regimes may be undertaken in Step 3.
HOW FAST WILL I LOSE WEIGHT?
Everybody’s losses are different given their metabolic make up, but generally women shed between 7 to 10 kgs in 30 to 40 days. Men can lose up to 15kgs. You will be amazed how quick you’ll regain your shape abnormal fat deposits diminish. In no time at all your waist will shrink, there will be no more double chins or large thighs.
WILL IT BE SUSTAINABLE?
During Step 1 and 2 you will learn how to eat correctly. In Stage 3 we reintroduce dairy, carbohydrates and good fats. You will do 21 days of maintenance so you will now be armed with the tools to sustain your losses. If you go back to your old eating habits of over eating and drinking you will regain your weight.
I HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, IS IT SAFE?
Yes, our program works in conjunction with blood pressure medication. Be sure to check in with your doctor as you lose weight its likely your BP will come down this may result in your doctor reducing your medication. The best outcome would be coming off your medication completely. You must work in conjunction with your doctor before changing your medication.
I AM INSULIN DEPENDANT, IS THIS SUITABLE FOR ME?
Some diabetics who follow our program find that their blood sugars naturally stabilise. There could be an overall drop in fasting blood sugar after completion of the program. Always seek medical advice to be monitored during your progress.
WILL I BE HUNGRY?
You must stick to the program 100% eating as per the approved foods lists and menu plan. You may feel hungry in the first week but in no time at all you will feel amazing.
HOW MUCH WATER DO I NEED TO DRINK?
You need to drink 3 litres of water per day, this is required for hydration and to flush out toxins. Your kidneys and skin will love you for it.
WHY TAKE SUPPLEMENTS, CAN’T I JUST DO THE PLAN?
It is unstainable to do a low-calorie plan without taking supplements. The nutrition supports you naturally through the detox phase as we balance your hormone and insulin levels.
